What the integration gives

Sending and receiving WhatsApp messages directly from Odoo (CRM, Sales, Helpdesk).

Automatic notifications to clients: order confirmation, delivery status, reminders, etc.

All correspondence is saved in the customer’s record.

You can message the client first (via templates approved by Meta).

What is needed for connection

  1. Create a Meta Business Accoun
  2. Complete business verification
  3. Prepare a phone number that hasn’t been used in WhatsApp yet.
  4. Get access to the WhatsApp Business API through a provider (BSP):

How it works (example case)

  1. The client places an order or writes on WhatsApp.
  2. The message automatically appears in Odoo (chat, CRM, Helpdesk).
  3. The manager replies directly from Odoo — the message goes to the client’s WhatsApp.
  4. Odoo saves the full message history and can send automatic notifications:

  6. payment reminder
  7. meeting notification
